BIO

I am a graduate student at Virginia Tech seeking a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering with a concentration in Computer/Embedded Systems.

I’ve been interested in embedded systems since my first year of undergrad. This enthusiasm aided me in obtaining intriguing industrial internships, research internships, and projects in the field of embedded systems. This, in turn, prepared me to be a competent embedded software developer to explore and learn more in detail.

My research interests are

  • Real Time Embedded Systems
  • Real time Operating Systems
  • Autonomous Systems
  • Robotics
  • Electrical System Design Engineer, L&T Limited

Conducted various testing operations of individual electronic and controller units.

Integrated sub-modules and units into the complete system for trials and operations.

Designed and deployed highly reliable and robust electronics system and units for heavy engineered products

Embedded Software Intern, Magnes Motors Pvt Ltd

Implemented data logging automated solutions using wifi-equipped ESP32 and transmitting data to a centralized unit for future data analysis and testing

Developed a Android GUI app for the user to visualise the health and essential data of the vehicle

Designed intelligent modules using ESP-32 microcontroller for Battery Management System (BMS) thus increasing operational efficiency by ~20%

Refactored legacy round-robin architecture to real-time architecture using FreeRTOS resulting in decreasing latency by ~15%

    Research Intern, VJTI CoE-CNDS lab

Researched on Field Programmable Gate Arrays and implemented designs and electrical interfaces on Spartan 3E and Kintex 7

Implemented simulation of AES encryption and decryption on Kintex 7 as co-processor on Vivado design suite
